The name “Backspin 360” is new, but the platform is rooted in a decade of real-world usage and innovation.  Owned and operated by SportsNet Inc., our story began in 2010 with a simple software project for managing coach clearance in a single school district.  What followed was an education in customer-focused development, as we kept our clients in the spotlight and fine-tuned our solution accordingly.

Growth followed, as did demand for specialized tools for high school sports management.  We pioneered the introduction of student data integration as the backbone of athlete registration and eligibility management and eased the transition from paper to digital by making document verifications and storage a cornerstone of our service.  We learned how to adapt quickly to changing requirements, as compliance and risk management loomed as top concerns for our clients.

Perhaps most profoundly, though, we found ourselves as de facto change management specialists, as staffing turnover in schools and districts short-circuited gains earned through experience.  The platform preserved institutional knowledge, providing continuity through staff changes.  Our personalized approach to support served two purposes; it helped our clients get up to speed on their own job responsibilities, and gave us direct insight into the minute details of program management.

In 2022, we reimagined our place in sports program leadership.  The youth sports market is bursting with demand for quality programs.  Quality starts with experience and a deep passion for what we do, qualities that inspired us to ask, "How can we blend our mature software with the latest technologies and expand our reach beyond schools?"
